Okay so the guy i like Shane and I have been good friends since we met. Latley weve been getting closer though becasuse his girlfriend broke up with him. He told a bunch of people he liked me and everyone knows i really like him but my best frind logon has liked him all year. The thing is hs told me he would never like logon as more than a friend. There's this girl in my class who thinks shes so much smarter than me. She came here after coming from Ontario...and to tell you the truth, I think Ontario has a better education system than New Brunswick...but anyway, she comes here thinking shes all that and tries to show me up and tries to be better than me at school...and to tell you the truth the only think I'm better than her in is gym...but now I want to be the one who's better than her...and besides that there's another reason I want to be smarter-I want to be validictorian when I graduate in two years. Any ideas or websites that you think could help me?

I dont get it. Every so often someone (usually a girl) will come one, talk about all her great qualities in a very positive manner and then ask if she sounds pretty? When its so clear that she is, at least by her own description, she must already get loads of compliments in person, why would she still need more reassurance?

nothing against them, but isn't it the Chinese year of the Pig or something? The Chinese had to change it because the Muslims had a problem with it.

It's not like they have to EAT the pig or anything so why do they care if other people want to celebrate their tradition/culture?

i have a friend who recently said something interesting to me out of the blue. This is a friend who talks to me about her problems &what is wrong with her relationship. Her first problem is that everytime her boyfriend doesnt say i love you or kiss her back she asks if hes mad at her or whats wrong. i have told her many times if she keeps her insecure ways going he's going to dump her..& then she imed me out of the blue the other day with this:
>i think im better than everyone else and when i fail to see that i get upset. when things arent exactly how i want them to be it bothers me because i believe i deserve better than that.
>i enjoy helping people and being a good person bcuz i know it makes me better than everyone else
