When my DSL is hooked up directly to my computer it works just fine. I connect it up to my wireless router (with wireless card in my computer) and it works great for about 15 minutes and then it just stops. All the lights on everything are still on or blinking like they were before. When I plug back into the computer everything works again.... and the cycle goes again when I try the wireless again. I never had this problem with the cable modem and I'm tired of being bound by wires!!!
Any advice is appreciated ;o)

i paid out of pocket for a class and got the 1098-t form from my school.After using an onlne tax service they added the amount i paid to the adjusted gross income section of the 1040.Where can i add $150 for the books on the form? or is not allowed since im doing the tuition deduction instead of the hope and lifetime credit?

My live-in b/f (49) and I (44) are in a real crisis mode. First, we love each other very much. After some pressing on my part (he's a master at keeping secrets), he revealed his financial status. He's been lying to hide from being embarrassed. He owes the IRS a lot of money, he screwed up his $, no savings, he doesn't own a house now, he lives paycheck to paycheck. We talked about marriage and trips, but now that I know this, how we can even think about that with all this $ stress? His health is bad. I don't care about the $ so much as he is not happy and told me he hates himself, feels guilty over his mistakes, feels there's no use in trying to make things better $, too late to buy a house, pay debt etc. He can't see his way out. I said he was losing me because there's no joy, no happiness, no hope. It's always been stressful. He stopped making love 8 months ago. I'm always the one giving. I want to help, I got a job even tho I'm sick & he still thinks it's useless. Can this be saved?

that's how much my parents went in debt for 3 years of my schooling and I went about 15,000 in debt! but I flunked out of college. My first year and a half i did amazing then i don't know what happened. I just couldn't do it anymore. I looked for other options and decided i wanted to join the air force... I have kinda always wanted to but never had the guts to do it. but now my options were limited. My parents want me to go to community college then back to my former university, my dad especially. I feel bad because of the amount of money spent, but i do plan on getting a degree one day before i'm 27 i'm only 20 right now. I think the military might give me a chance to serve my country while giving me the discipline and kick in the pants i need to finish school. any suggestions, i'll even take opinions... don't be mean though i've already cried about the money that has been spent and feel guilty but feel like i have a better chance of finishing school this way!

i want to give my son an opportunity to buy the duplex that he is renting. not rent with option, outright buying. i am told that it is not in my best interest to sell to a family member, but i don't know why, and no explanation is given for this. he will be offered the house just below fair market value, as he is a relative. why shouldn't i sell it to him?
