What if there are peope like me who is strongminded and wont buy something unless the absolutely want to. And it doesnt matter, if it smells good, looks good, popular, or on sale. That is why is psychology the best strategy if not what is?

HELL YESSS! Psychology is my passion but my weakness for shopping doesn't mesh with it. Maybe as a professional it will.

Being I hold a Marketing Degree that answer is IMPULSE BUYERS. There are more impulse buyers than well informed buyers that take their time to wait for bargains or shop around days or weeks later. 87% of the average shopper shops out of need or better put... WANT. Retailers wanting their market share know this and plan their stratigies around this conundrum we call the impulse. And it's not going to get any better. Commercialism I mean.

It seems to be working on the masses for the most part.....there are very few people, it would seem, that standard marketing doesn't work on, myself included. As far as I'm concerned, psychological strategies are the best.

Yes but if they hit u with reverse psycology u have to just lower the price
then rise it up form the qrignal price by $2
and then us psycology again

P.s. I never read ur qustion i saw the word psycology and stop carrying
