Native Americans were Animists and Shamanists. They believed in animal and nature spirits. There are many variations, and I don't know the specifics.

Native americans, depending on the tribe would worship a variaty of things. incans worshiped the sun primarily, and the moon. the lakota worshiped the buffaloe mostly, among many other animals and spirits. Some tribes were godless, not many. Mostly they worshiped the earth and what they saw. But they also worshiped their ancestors spirits. Though some tribes beleived the animals they hunted were infact their ancestors spirits, come back to this plane and thus they worshiped the animals too. Some worshiped rain, rocks, mountians, huge rivers ect.

one has to be more specific in the direction with the question ,
there are many Native Americans from Alaska to fire Island
which ones do you mean

esquimos are a totally different race from the Blackfoot Cherokee,Sioux,,etc

and the Apachi,Hopi,Navaho are another race again,

as are the central American,Mixteccas ,Azteccas,Olmecas.Mazateccas,Mayas.

And the South American Incas ,and Amazonian Indios are again other races that look different ,different skin color ,different features, different cultures ,

you try to lump a chunk of mixed Humanity into one and ask what is their culture.
How can you do that ,it is like saying what does Asia believe in

From what I have learned during working with several Native Americans, the original religion and the one still followed today by many is the worship of the creator and the things that were created. They respect the earth, the sky, the sun, the moon, the animals and most of all, each other. They refer to the earth as their mother and they refer to God as "The Great Spirit".

there have been/are many community American countries and cultures with many diverse religions. Which one especially do you advise? in simple terms assuming all of them had rituals to thank "mom Nature" is almost presumptuous. i'm a touch skeptical that you "truly like the community individuals and how they're" in case you probably did not specify a tribe or maybe a area. extra like you're enamored with the stereotype of community individuals. usually, %. a tribe. upload the be conscious "faith" after it. it really is the call of their faith. there is truly some similar religions in the course of the Southeast and Mid-West observed as the Southeastern Ceremonial complicated, and it really is linked with the Mississippian cultures, which died out round 1650 because of the devastating outcomes of smallpox and measles.

From what I understand,we(some of us)worship The Creator(God),The Great Spirit (Holy Spirit),than theres Jesus.I was told about these and just simplified it and put them together. We also respect the earth and all that comes from it.And try not to speak of the dead(in case someone didn't make it to Heaven).Respecting elders and each other. Also believe burning sage and other herbs purify the air.
