I was informed that whenever a woman undergo caesarian operation, the doctos automatically remove the appendix or appendicitis. Is this true?

Never heard that before. They can if it NEEDS to coem out but if there's no reason then no they dont touch it.

Not that I know of. They just remove the baby and the placenta. I've attended as an observer (a couple in nursing school) and I didn't see any appendixes coming out of there.

Yes, they also remove your tonsils and change your timing belt.

No, of course not!

And of course your appendix is an organ, while appendicitis is a problem that can occur with your appendix.

No they don't. I had a Ceasarian and I still have my appendix. Nothing but the baby and placental tissue is removed.

No they remove the baby that's it.It wouldn't be routine. Now if you were in need of an appedicitis it may be able to be removed at that time ,but only if medically needed.

No, this is not accurate. The doctor will remove the baby and then suture you back up, that is it. OBGYN docs are usually not even trained to do appendectomies, you have to go to a general surgeon for that.

No! Ihad a c-sectionand my appendix are still in my body. Whoever told you that is an idiot.

NOT TRUE AT ALL U PROBERLY FIND THAT THEY HAD A PROBLEM WITH HEIR APPENDIX AND THEY TOOK IT OUT WHILE THEY WAS OPENING THE STOMACH

when my sister in-law had a Cesarean she did not have her appendix removed.

No why would they do this they only go straight through to your uterus
