I always hear people complaining about how teachers only work 8am-2pm and get 3 months off for summer, therefore they are overpaid and the Unions are just evil organizations that don't teach children anything. I don't know about you, but I believe that developing lesson plans, preparing for parent teacher conferences, actual parent teacher meetings, staff development days, field trips and planning, plus summer school, goes WAY beyond the 8am-2pm myth. Why do people jump to conclusions so quickly? In some ways, I think teachers work harder than CEOs and lawyers but are compensated WAY less.

Face it, America is at war for economic supremecy.

So naturally we do what we can to eliminate competition by "Building Democracy" in oil rich nations such as Iraq.

Iran is very outspoken about the United States foreign policy. They have there hands in Hezbollah.

This is the real threat of Iran, not WMD's.

It is the fact that current government in Iran is not happy with the United States and will more than likely disrupt America's pupeteering in the region.

Geographically we have Iran boxed in. Our troops are entrenched in Afghanistan and Iraq, additionlally we are working closely with Pakistan in fighting terrorists.

So regardless of the fact that Iran may or may not have Nuclear weapons and the fact that Iran is taking part in the chaos in Iraq, the true threat is that Iran will more than likely complicate U.S. affairs in the region.

When will the U.S. Government realize that bloodshed is not the best tool to achieve suppremcy?

When saying goodbye or hi to each other,

Yesterday my doctor suspects I have kidney stones, which makes sense of course, but I have a couple questions about them for people who have had them....

Two days ago, all the sudden, it hurt like heck when I peed and a little blood came out....this continued through the night and through yesterday morning then it started getting better. I went to the doc last night and was negative for infections so he thought kidney stones and is running test on my blood and urine.

In the meantime I am wondering, was that it? Is it done after that? Has anyone with Kidney stones had this happen? I have no back paid or side pain or anything other than urinating pain and blood...but that has since stopped or appears that way....Im just wondering has anyone had that and then the BIG hits or am I in the clear here?????

I know u lose like 100 strands or less a day is it normal from not losing alot of hair for like a week that it could have just stayed at the ends waiting for u to brush it out because out of the whole week today i lost the most and wasn't from the root just the ends because i haven't brushed till today and i have very long hair down my back so is that normal
