I think most people have been. Remember that beer you had when you were underage?? That joint you took a hit off of when at a party?? How about that traffic light you "coasted through" as it turned red? In my state, adultery is a crime. Also fornication -- that would get a lot of people.
When you ask "have you ever been a criminal" anyone who has ever violated a law is technically a criminal, even if not apprehended, charged and convicted. Is that what you mean???

Never been a criminal, unless you want to include speeding ticket (which was one, but 17 years ago) or of course that chocolate bar I stole when I was about 5. Other than that, no. I have a spotless record and looking forward to keeping it that way.

I actually grew up with many criminals in my family and in all levels of the crimninal world, and thats what makes me so good in my line of work, is I can actually blend in with the criminals and then bust them. I know both sides of the fense and have crossed over many times, but in the line of work.
