I have trouble keeping my eyes open. So, if Im so tired why is that I cant fall asleep for a nap? AND at these times I get extra cold and urinate 3 times in a half hour, making it harder to sleep. Whats up with this?

My son Matthew Jerome Powell was shot and killed while in handcuffs by the LAPD of the Rampert Division. He was only 24 years old. He was my youngest son. its a 55 gal. tank and the salt has been in the water for almost 24 hrs. but theres still a little bit salt on the bottom. is it ok for me to put the sand in now? or should i wait another 24 hrs for itto completely dissolve?

We are living in a world where people kill each other. To stop the killing we kill people who kill other people. It sounds awful and barbaric but this is how it’s done. Death penalty is needed everywhere because it is the most effective punishment for people who committed a murder, or a serious crime. “Death and Justice” by Edward Koch explains well why capital punishment is needed and what will happen if we don’t have a capital punishment and I strongly agree to the author that death penalty is needed.
I agree with the capital punishment because there is just no way to punish the people who committed the serious murder or other terrible crimes. Some say that they disagree with the capital punishment because it’s too barbaric and there are other ways to punish them enough. I agree on the fact that it’s barbaric and inhumane, but this is needed because if we want to punish the serious killers by just putting them in a jail for their life, what difference would it make? Yes, we are keeping them out of our society and make our life safer but we have to think about what that criminal might think while he/she is in the jail. They might actually enjoy, because they just killed a person and still living in a jail, eating food, and making friends. If we officially say that all the capital punishment is banned from this world, all the criminals out there might think that worst thing could happen by killing someone would be just going to a jail and to keep these people in the prison, government needs money and where do they get the money? It’s from our taxes. I don’t understand why we need to pay taxes to keep the criminals in the prison. They could have taken our family’s life and if that happens, not a lot of people who are victim’s family would have such a forgiving and understanding mind. We want them to commune with themselves and feel sorry for what they have done. But how do we know that they actually feel sorry and sad for what they have done? Putting them in a jail for their life is not enough. They took a precious life away and it can be paid with only with their own life. They have to understand taking somebody’s life is a serious thing. We don’t want to put the idea of killing is not serious by banning the capital punishment and furthermore, in the essay “Death and Justice” by Edward Koch shows some good points why we need death penalty.

I have a trojan horse on my computer and I'm trying to get rid of it. It's not really messing anything up or slowing anything down though. The only problem is that it keeps trying to get me to download "get rid of spyware" stuff that is actually spyware itself. I have spysweeper and am running it for the 3rd time trying to get rid of it. Oh yeah one more problem. It wont let me access Yahoo directly. Like i have to go to yahoomail.com to access my mail and then use a link to get on Answers. weird huh? i also have a Norton Anti Virus Protection program that has destroyed some viruses today but anyway...how do i make my computer go back to the way it was pre virus?

We have a power supply for electrophoresis which I am writing a safety analysis of. The power supply is 120V, 60Hz and the fuse rating is 1A at 250V. If it makes any difference, the supply is plugged into a GFCI outlet. As the gel tanks need to be covered to get a current, electrocution should only be able to happen by touching a live lead connector? What is the most likely result of an accidental electrocution from this apparatus? Thanks a lot.

i have just adopted a yellow 4 yr. old lab who has settled really well, but he barks at every thing even if it is just putting a cup on the table.

I found out a few months ago flipping through an old photo album that I am related to some Nazi war criminals (SS officers who fled after WW2 to Paraguay, Uruguay and Switzerland.) I have contact with none of them as my grandmother had gotten out of Germany just before WW2 leaving the rest of the family behind to come to America. I asked my mom who told me immediately to throw out the picture. Because of her resistance, I asked my aunt who told me there were a lot of Nazis in my family and showed me pictures. I want to know more, but it is a VERY touchy subject. I dont think this is a big deal as we had no personal involvement. Is there anything I can do to ease the tension and find out more about what my family is hiding from me? At first I was shocked, but now I'm just curious. It was a different time.

My roommate has cut herself in the past and It seems like she has stopped receintly. Today I came back from class and I noticed that she is cutting again. She is crying while talking to her boyfriend right now and she has so many ups and downs all the time. She really seems like she is two different people. I am pretty good friends with her, and I have confronted her about the cutting, but I don't really know how to act in this situation. She never tells me her problems and she tries to act like everything is ok. I don't know if I should talk to her or leave her alone because she doesn't really act like she wants advice or anyone to help her. I am really worried for her, but I have never dealt with this before so I don't know what would be the best for me to do. What do you think I should do in this situation. I really want to help her, but I don't want to do something wrong.
