I mean he goes through all this trouble to make sure those who choose get saved by him to live in Heaven forever, but why go through all the trouble? Are humans the centre of his universe?

Psa 14:1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
Psa 14:2 The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.
Psa 14:3 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

you think God cares about you because it makes you fell safe...but the truth of the matter is no one is looking out for you. You are not special or more special than that Muslim or Atheist sitting next to you on a bus...if that bus crashed do you think your God would spare you over the other two? No, he wouldn't because he's not real. If you live or die is just a matter of it being your time.

Kill your God, Free your mind.

-Amen

God cares about all living beings equally. The cow and the tree are also living beings created by God. God is no respector of persons. Doesn't your bible say that? That doesn't just mean status, it also means sentience. We are no more important to Him than His other children. We have the intelligence to seek our relationship with God, that is the only difference. There are other living beings who are still more advanced, and have already attained the spiritual world. Are we more important than them? No.

I mean, who's all this for?
Do christians actually believe that god created hell as a little treat just for those who aren't christians?

Well I'm guessing more than his own son who he let become a joke in his own time, then let him get tortured and murdered, then let horrid atrocties be carried out in his name.

So in comparison to that......just a little bit more.

Not that I believe in (a) god or anything, but the judeo-christian god appears to absolutely love being worshiped and adored. He/She/It is more in love with himself/herself/itself than anything else.
