I was walking back from my night out last night, a lil drunk but i was ok! Saw a dead cat in the road, so i saved its dignity and carried him to the side. Reset my computer back to the start without any files etc...

My computer is full of viruses and now its so bad it takes roughly 5-20 minutes to start up I scanned the computer with AVG and results where 3,000 infected files.

So I have decided to re-start it to the begining!

My area is completely covered in about 3 inches of snow/ice. We have horses around here, and they can literally run ON TOP OF 2-3 inches of snow and not make a dent.

I went running yesterday, not particularly far or fast, and had to use a lot of effort to move on top of the ice. At each step you would have to really snap your foot down and either A, break through the top layer, sink into the soft stuff underneath, and use a lot of effort to push forward, or B, hit a slick spot and use a lot of effort to not slip. This was my first time running on top of snow/ice, and was I thinking that there might be a potential for some really good work outs. On the other hand, there might be a potential for some falls and missing teeth.

So do you think it'd be a good challenge to keep running on this stuff, or is it better to just stay away from it?

In front of my tongue i have red spots, it is full of it. These are not painful. And at the back of my tongue there are like white spots. They are not painful either and can be scraped. these are small, and are like white coating. is it due to lackof hygiene? Or is it a fungal infection? pls help i am worried.

First of all I'm sick of the Bowflex commercial about the 49 year-old man with rock hard abs. I myself am middle age and my friend who is 52 and a former Mr. Indiana body builder and still competes and WINS contests doesn't believe the hype.
So, whom among us believes that a man or woman, without being genectically predisposed, can achieve the results claimed by Bowflex. If not, who believes that an individual can, after years of abuse, neglect and general deprivation turn back time and get a body that is "beach-worthy"? I'm not talking about the ballsy, out-of-shape ****** who struts up and down the beach not caring what they look like.
I look forward to your comments. And if you would, please be specific about "how" in your answer, if in fact you are a believer. Not just..."proper diet, exercise,etc..) Thanks!

Anybody that knows or been through an interview like this..

I had an interview today for a police officer position. I am an auxiliary officer with this department and have been for 4 years, know most of the guys, higher ups, etc. Today was the interview for a full time position. The interview went well, however a few times, the police chief mentioned things like, "if you don't get it this time, we're going to be hiring a lot next year.." and "don't get discouraged, your application will remain on file for a year" He mentioned that a few times. He asked about 5 questions about me.

When he said that I started to get worried.. I go to all the training, calls, etc.. however, when they mention things like that, is that a bad sign? Or do they tell that to everbody? I know people on the department and I am sure my lieutenant on the department will put a word in for me?

During our group interview, he told everybody the same thing. However, why would he mention it a few times?
