If worse comes to worst, go to the nearest bathroom or kitchen and put a damp cloth on your face...an air conditioner will also do the trick.
Do as many social things as possible. The more comfortable you are around people, the less you will blush. Guaranteed. Interacting with humans makes life more special and will simply make you a better and more interesting person.
Get a tan as to reduce the clarity of the blush.
Below is a link around changing your mindset to prevent it from happening:

Hi there,
I'm not sure what country your in but in Australia we can get a natural herbal product called Nervatona. It comes in a tiny little spray bottle and you just spray it onto the tongue and it's absorbed really quickly and does a great job of calming you down.
I've used it for my own wedding and several public speaking events i've done. I've actually had most of my friends use it for their weddings as well because it worked so well.

You can also get a tablet version but i have only tried the spray and was told it's faster acting.
I hope this might help you out.

I have a girlfriend who gets all red, she's in her 40's and been that way forever. The first time it happens around new people she usually says "yes, I get red". Most people make no big deal out of it. I only once have heard her say "please don't make it worse, it bothers me terribly". So I guess its one of those things...put it in perspective....some people pee when they laugh, some snort, some have twitches and ticks, we all have something...this is your thing.
