My husband has accumulated 75 (I counted) boxes of tea over 10 years, they are opened boxes of various kinds, and he still continues to buy more despite my protestations. We have a small apartment and no room for them and no one to give them away to and if I throw them out I'll never hear the end of it...any suggestions?

I remember hearing something about putting your razor in a freezer to keep it sharp... but i need back-up on this option. Help someone plz? I know that you just buy new razors when your current one gets dull, but I just want to know if there are other ways.

We bought a house last year with a septic system and we are new to septic systems. My septic tank's distribution box keeps overflowing especially after I have washed several loads of laundry in a row or several people have taken showers in a row. The tank was pumped less than a year ago when we bought the house. We have been using RID X regularly. Do we need to seek a septic tank specialist? Do we need a new septic system? (Please no)

I actually do not as I was not born until 1985, I have however read a lot about it. All of the scientists were clamoring that the earth was cooling and that man-made greenhouse gases were keeping the sun's light from reaching the earth and this was going to cause a new ice age. This was not a few scientists either, it was mainstream almost all scientists. Now the fear is global warming....AND another point all the global warming people need to ask is are there very many scientists at all that say we can actually do something about it? Some of them say this is a serious problem and give recommendations for capping emissions and everything, but yet they do not actually give proof that these things will help more than about a tenth of a degree over a 10 year period (which is nothing when you consider how the climate changes over a ten year period on its own...aka from global cooling craze in the 70's and 80's to global warming crazy in the 90's and 00's.)

Thanks for stopping by, but please do not leave an answer unless you're knowledgable on this subject. Okay here goes.....How many dependents should you claim when you get hired if you make 100k per year and at the end of the year you would be claiming your two, your spouse and yourself. Also after you have children and you will be claiming them as well? I know in a lower tax bracket it's better to claim 0 and they take the most out of your paycheck per week and at the end of the year you claim your dependents and you get the most back at that time. In a higher tax bracket is that still the best way to go??? Also my spouse may be working too, and if so then this could affect the amount we actually earn per year in a positive way or a negative one?? This may seem pretty basic to other people, lol but it's confusing me greatly. Thanks for stopping by and helping!!

Hi. I am self-employed and in college and I need some help figuring out my business mileage this year. I teach in multiple locations, including my home, my sister's home, private homes, other teacher's studios, churches, on campus, in both public/private schools etc . . .

For 2006 though I got a graduate job on campus that is not part of my self-employment. The school issued me a regular w-2.

This is what I'm confused about. I usually left my job on campus twice a week and drove directly to a teaching gig(s) in another city about 80 miles away. Can I deduct this mileage as business mileage since I was not commuting from home but from another place of work--even though the work I do on campus is not self-employed?
