Do you accept blindly.?

Question

It is frightening to me that I could have gone along with mindless acceptance my entire life. But that's the way the world often is. Ignorance blooms and flourishes.

Do you seek truths or do you accept without common sense.?

This is such an interesting question and goes even beyond religious beliefs. From what I have found, the human default setting is to side with just about any thought that "seems" to be good enough at the time a decision is being made. Many people make horrible choices in life blindly (me too), and this is a form of blind faith. Thank God that we, at length, are unable to go on if we live in a state of self-deception, and so either here or hereafter we wake to seek real truth (as opposed to what "seems" to be true). So for me, I was driven to find truths that work, and not ones that have been passed down for hundreds of years that afford no help when help is needed. :)

I do have faith which is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen.

And I do seek out the truth.....I check the Bible to make sure what my pastor says is in accordance with God's word.

seek trues for sure,We have common sense to use it.An open-mind is a mind alive and well.I believe in God but still am open-minded I just am not religious.I always am open to the fact i may be wrong about a lot of things and am willing to change my view.

Well..don't you go along BLINDLY accepting ..
that you are loved...when they tell you they love you{boyfriend..husband}.....OR better yet....that you are going to get a paycheck from your employer....why?

I have strong faith in the Lord God. I don't find that to be ignorant at all. Without faith, there is nothing!
