Nope, all do to one reason.

Logistics

No other country has the ability to actualy move the troops to stage an invasion.

Britian in the Falklands war had to use a passenger ocean liner to move troops to the Falklands, they had no other way, now the British Navy is half the size it was then.

Canada and Mexico COULD invade , but considering the size of their Military it would be over quickly.

While China does have million of soldiers, they do not have a Blue Water Navy and do not have the means to move those troops to the US.

Currently, no there is not.

For those who watch way to many 80's movies, there never has been nor will there be a military force which could successfully invade, occupy, and control the US at its current state.

Reasons include but are not limited to: Size, popluation, area, geography, and the fact that not only do we have a badass military with some sort of base in almost every state, but the most badass technology available to a military, not to mention several key allies.

Oh, and every single redneck, gangster, thug, criminal, and honest american carrying everything from shotguns, handguns, and whatever else is illegal would be shooting invaders from their houses.

The British ran into that problem in the Revolutionary war, with the minutemen. Imagine that on a grand scale.

Why? So many other country's are successfully invading us economically. Why shed blood if you don't have to. Not singling out Mexico but they're a prime example. Thanks to the greed monger's here, and their own country keeping the people down, there's an influx of them coming here to work illegally for wage's less than a US citizen can afford to. It lighten's the load on their country, less people, burden's our's, more people, they send a large portion of the money they make home, win, win for Mexico. Win, lose for the US, the business owner's of all size's here are getting cheap labor putting more money in their pocket's and the everyday working person is losing their job, wage's and working condition's. Let's not even mention China and the slave labor they're providing for our businesses, while they threaten us with all sort's of nuclear and anti missle technology. Then you'll hear how all the cheap (quality as well) product's they provide help the US citizen. If the average US citizen was earning a decent wage they wouldn't have to rely on cheap junk. It all boil's down to profit margin's, the people at the top think they deserve it all and are going to do all they can to keep it. The people who are actually producing their product's (worker's) don't deserve anything, they're lucky to have a job if you listen to the owner's. Wonder how successful they'd be if they didn't have anyone making their product's?

Probably, but I don't think anyone really wants them. The people that want to go there, give immigration or boarder jumping a shot. The only people that have successfully invaded the US, are the ones that took the 'place' itself, from the First Nations already there.
Apparently, that situation still scares the crap out of people. The jury is still out on how long all this is going to last anyway...I am a result of colonialism, I know it, and I don't plan on leaving any time soon. However, I know enough to pay respect where respect is due, and maybe, I will leave across the water one day I don't know. There are wonderful things going on here too!
War for the Americans is a way of life though. More than anyone else, they have a vested interest in feeding it, and their egos. (That comment is not for the really awesome individuals who are Americans! It's only for the ones who deserve it.) Tragically, I think more than ever, we are on the edge of a global war that will know no boarders.
I hope I am oh so wrong!Love to all!Peace.

the size and location of the US would make it to difficult to invade, and the fact that there is a US military base with inteligence units in almost every country doesn't help much either.... oh and the Air Force and their surveillance plans I'm sure would pick something up... And those darn Submarines and fighter jets would shoot it down... Thats why america is victim to terrorist attacks... we can easily prevent whole countries from invading... its the individual that is difficult to stop!

With all of the firearms in private hands, an invasion of our mainland is unlikely. Not to mention that an invasion force would be seen well before it got to our shores. Those invaders that survived would be mopped up on the beach. Supposedly Japan wanted to invade the west coast. But they found out that with all the guns in private hands, their invasion would not succeed.

No invasion could happen as long as the USA do not make wars against other nations (similar to what happened in Iraq) and defend peace and freedom in the world with real and credible intention.

Hello,

I think Red China has the manpower to launch a decent offensive...but they won't get close enough to Hawaii before the aircraft and ships are destroyed.

This is a rehash of the same stupid question of last week. Why?

You obviously do not know enough about the world since you ask such a stupid question. Go study, learn, grow up, then ask questions like this with some validity.

Not a "military" per se, but we ARE being invaded by illegal aliens.Technology has pretty much protected us from any military threat. And no, I don't think any country would attempt such a suicidal mission.
