You can try the websites of organizations where you want to be an intern. Contact the HR departments to find out about opportunities. Also, ask your student placement service if they have any alumni at those organizations - they may be able to put you in touch with an alum who can help you get in!

Also, you don't mention what field(s) you're interested in - that would help. There are some specialized websites for internships. One to try is Idealist.org.

check online too. many big corporations and govts have internships on thier websites on the net.

They are a new site that launched recently and my friend already have a few interviews for accounting jobs. Check it out. I believe monstertrak.com is also good. They are bigger but my friend never got any calls. =T
