Three friends went to a hotel. The bill was Rs 75/- Each one contributed Rs.25/-.


The waiter took the bill to the cashier.


The cashier was happy & decided to give them a discount of Rs.5/- & asked the waiter to return them Rs.5/-.


Now the waiter was confused. How to distribute Rs 5 among 3 persons?


He kept Rs 2 in his pocket & gave one rupee to each one of the 3 persons.


So initially each one had contributed Rs.25. Now as they are given 1 rupee back, their contribution reduces to Rs 24.


They all contributed Rs 24 -- that is 24x3=72 & 2 rupees are in the waiters pocket.


The total becomes 74. But they had paid Rs 75.


Where is the remaining 1 rupee?.

My husband made my day so special. In the morning he gave me a card and on my way to work I got a text msg telling me to be dressed to kill at 7pm because a Limo would pick me up. I got picked up by a Limo taken to a restaurant while I drank champagne. Had cocktails and a wonderful dinner and then a Limo picked us up to take us home. We had more champagne and candles were lit. How romantic is that?!!!!

When I was married (divorced now 4 yrs.), and if I awoke in the wee hours I returned to sleep fine. Or now that I'm single and if I've met a man and after awhile the the relationship has moved to us sleeping together and if I awaken in the wee hours, I feel peaceful, snuggle in closer and drift back to sleep fine.

I'm not in a relationship now as, while I adore and value men, there is no one I've met that I choose to continue dating...so I'm currently single.

So...now, if I awaken in the wee hours I find it hard to return to sleep very soon. Any suggestions for returning to sleep peacefully when single and sleeping alone ?

And...please no crude answers such as " find a guy " or simular answers. Seeking helpful answers only.

Hubble's deep impact mission (HDIM) has captured a snap shot of a galaxy cluster, believed to have about 10,000 galaxies in a photo 10 times lesser in size of the full moon, which is believed to have located about 13-14 billion light years away. Not only this, we have learned that we have about 400 billion galaxies in the visible universe. The Hubble mission is near to the end. We are about to expand our vision, possibly with VLDM (very large diameter mirror), which is being worked out to be flown in to the space. Our earth is a tiny piece, which is merely visible suppose some intelligent life from distant galaxy finds our milky way, with amazing spiral structure. It would be very difficult to find the earth on the Orion arm. It appears that we have neighbors in the universe, but time and space factor prevents us being together. I have the only wish if humans would find the new life in the universe before I die. It would be the great achievement.
