I just heard on the news to watch out for "PETER PAN AND GREAT VALUE PEANUT BUTTER as it is tanted with samanella.....they said to look for code # 2111 if you have one of these, take it back.

yes, this is true, good thing its only that kind.
The reason why is the wal-mart brand of stuff is generally the same product as the brand named stuff. the only diffrence is that walmart buys the same product cheaper from that company and walmart sells it under their name "Great Value." therefore making it cheaper.
so, walmart uses peterpan penut butter for their "great value" causing both of them to be the same and have the problem.

Your right......I saw the same thing...You can toss the Peanut Butter out and take the lid back, it has the code on it.....

Most were also sold in walmart.
