I was wondering if there was a way to tell if you were pregnant a week after incourse because...I have been gaining a little weight and my waist has gotten bigger...but I need to know now it might help me with the desicion to press charges or not because I was forced to have sex with one of my friends and he didn't use protection....can anyone help me out...also, I can't tell my granparent...because I am 17 and he was 20 and they wouldn't undertand or believe me ...so anyone?

Last Wednesday, I had to put Zeus, my chow, to sleep. He was the oldest of our babies, so for everyone else, he has always been here. It was extremely hard as he was a wonderful friend, not only to my husband and I but also to our three other dogs and 6 cats.

My question is, how can I help the other pets through their mourning? They are, understandably, acting oddly - mopey, clinging, constantly asking for attention, not eating normaly and following us around. We are giving all of the animals extra attention, but I am wondering if anyone else that has had to go through this may have some advice on other ways to help my babies get through this. I know they (like us!) will need time to adjust, but I am wondering if there is anything that we can do to help them through their adjustment.

I am a 25 year old (fresh) computer engineer from Pakistan who just started as a software developer in a small but established database development company.My CGPA is very low and its full of failing grades (my transcript reads lack of consistency and hardwork) I know what is done cannot be changed but this has virtually closed all doors on me for getting admission ins a graduate school in USA.

I have a strong desire to do research and have the potential to perform much better in a research environemnt of my choice.

I basically have three options , on top of acing GRE general test.

-Get a very good GRE computer science score. (this is easier said than done)

-Involve my self into Research (some how manage to colloaborate and publish a paper with a US professor, it would be his/her problem to fit me in some how)
-Get admitted in a low quality (but accredited) MS program in my country, ace it, then apply for MS/phd

I am leaning towards research. prefereably involving opensource

a rocket doesn't need fuel in space primarily because it doesn't need to do any work in space. we need fuel in earth because we have to do some work to overcome a lot of force like FRICTION,AIR RESISTANCE and gravitational force but in space there are none of theses factors and so if we accelerate once it then goes with a constant velocity. but if we could notice u might see tht rockets have fuels can u xplain whyyy?

I recently bought my 5 month old an Exersaucer. I've also been reading a lot about limiting time in it to 15 minutes a "day" because they can adversely impact child's motor development. I was wondering if parents who allowed their children to spend more than 15 minutes a day noticed any gross motor delays in their child's ability to walk, stand, crawl, or creep?

My daughter spends time each day on the floor and on her tummy; however, due to convenience to me (being honest) I have noticed that she easily spend much than 15 minutes a "day" in her Exersaucer.

Nothing to do with the Hamsters crash! I can't believe that Hick Country Americans took the slogans on the Cars the Top Gear Team drew up as offensive. (Sunday 11th January episode) They don't have the slightest sense of humour and really need a life. If you cant have fun at yourself then whats the point of living? We barate ourselves over everything, yet when a group of trucks with rocks and baseball bats showed up...I think they overreacted a bit. Truely America...Get a life, find things funny.
