I do not agree with his statement, but since Australia has supported us in Iraq, I also think he has every right to express his concern. However, it's premature and Obama should be given the opportunity to explain his Iraqi policy and opinion much more thoroughly. I suggest to Mr. Howard that he have a personal conversation with Senator Obama before expressing such an opinion. Mr. Howard will obtain little information of value from watching Senator Obama on news programs that are limited in time and by the questions asked.

I think the PM has a point. The Democrats want to handle the Iraq issue in a different way, by the diplomatic negotiations.
Terrorists don't use "diplomatic negotiations; they use the "I bomb you if you don't agree with me negotiations."
Now, Obama, who is a Democrat, wants to use diplomatic negotiations to solve the Iraq issue, if he wins in 2008, we might see Iraq turn into a country controlled by radical Islamic militants.

No. I have never agreed with anything Howard has said.
He needs to keep his mouth shut and start planning his retirement in November.

Come back when his opinion really matters, like 14 years, when he'll be an official American citizen, perhaps? If not, he should stay out of American politics, and so should you if you're so easily swayed by people from other countries.

Yes, and I hope more and more of our own so-called representatives speak out against Obama and his corrupt commie cronies of whom all follow the "New World Order" agenda, of which would create global chaos...
