I dont think that Indians necessarily talk to much about cricket, I just think that at times they can get overly fanatical about cricket. I look at Indian cricketers and admire them for coping with the way some of their fans are.
If they win, they are gods. If they lose, they should be stoned to death. That seems to be the reactions you see on here. Indians are probably the most one eyed supporters you will see, and almost at times get blinded to reality by their fantaticism for their team. But you cannot deny that when you play in India, it certaintly motivates the Indian team when you have so many rabid fans supporting you, and it is certainly an unforgettable experience.

Yes. Cricket is the national pastime in India, and the people who make the national team (ie Sashin Tendulkar) are regarded as national heroes.

hockey is known to b national game, but it is cricket which is talked by each n every one in this country.
cricket is played by children of 6 yrs to elders of 80-90 yrs. no wonder cricket is the best.
