Actually quite a few parrots are up there- look at macaws. Moluccan cockatoos live up until 90 or so. Larger parrots tend to have longer lives.

It is said to be the Macaw. However I feel this is not the true adverage of a cage bird nor a wild. Wild caught face many new challanges just remaining free, and handfeds, rarely get the life time of attention, excercise, nor diet to have them last a full 120 years. It seems that 80 is the more reasonable number for these birds in capitivity.

A parrot has a very long life span of about 100 years plus. They also have the intellegence of a 4 year old and can be taught how to count , what colours are and shapes as well as other things. Brill pets but need a lot of attention just like a child and a big commitment

We have a blue and gold macaw and they are known to go for a hundred years, Bandit is only eight so has some way to go providing he stops being rude to me.
Winston Churchill had the same breed of parrot, I found details about it last year he was 104 years at the time. If your interested click on Churchills parrot it's interesting, he is still ranting anti-Nazi abuse!!!!!!!!
I believe albatross's live that length of time, but I'm glad I'm not a turkey.
