Go onto the DEFRA website, they give you all the information you need on exporting animals abroad.

Defra will put you on the right lines to ensure and easy move. Don't try doing it without qualified information. Make sure all vaccinations are done and up to date, including rabies as rampant out there.

hi there i am taking my dog to Spain with me this April. what you need to do is get him a pet passport. all you need to do is make sure all his injections are up to date then take him to see your vet and tell him your plans. he will do some test on him, then the vet gets in contact with all the people he needs to, and they basically do it all for you. it can take a couple of months tho to get the ball rolling. we started last November and we are just gettin everything finished now. so good luck.
