My kids, scrubbed and with full tummies, snuggling into their warm safe beds with their teddy bears after stories, songs, and kisses.

There's something very right about that.

It's real, it's primal, and it makes all my other cares go away - or at least seem worthwhile. Maybe not the spiritual answer you were looking for, but it's a very spiritual experience to me.

Peace is the fruit of the Spirit (Gal 5:22). This you received through transformation by the Holy Spirit as you are led by Him in your spiritual walk. Praying in the Spirit is a great help to give you this.

Thanks to the fundie who gave EVERY non-God answer a thumbs down. Way to show the love and tolerance you preach.

Peace: Riding my bicycle, holding my wife, having a good beer on Friday evening, getting a professional massage, sitting at the top of a 14,000' peak, camping in the middle of nowhere and seeing millions of stars. Just off the top of my head, of course.

The good things in life!

Practicing herbal medicine. More specifically, the part where I get to forage in the woods for the herbs I need.

I get out in the open air, in the wilderness, where I can find solitude and enlightenment in the quiet hours, among the growing things of the bush.

I learn about the local flora of my area. The folk and Latin names of each plant, their uses, how to find, forage, gather, dry, store, prepare and use them....

It allows me a good long period of exercise, those long walks in search of that rare flower or hard-to-find root.

In short, it's good for my mind, body and soul simultaneously.
