Did Donnie Darko change the past at the end of the movie or was a predestination paradox? Was there two Donnies on october 2? One being Donnie from the future(oct 30) and current Donnie (oct 2)? Did current Donnie follow Frank while Future Donnie appeared in his bedroom after Current Donnie left his house? Did future donnie die at the end of the movie or was it current donnie who remembers the future?

I've only met her a handful of times, but when we hang out she touches my shoulder, complements my clothes, told me I looked good in a shirt one time, complemented my shoes, would give me random smiles from a distance and one time I noticed when we all did some pregame shots before going out to a club she gave me a much larger shot glass than our two other friends.

I think she's cute as hell, but would never try anything because im not like that. I do remember a year before I was flirting with her and she told me she was interested in someone else (my friend--before I knew they were an item) but that I was fun. She even put her New Year's necklace on me.

What does all this mean? BTW, when we talk, her bf, a good guy, looks at us kind of serious. Her personality speaks of "natural flirt", she is a nice girl and all, but what would you say this is? Does she like me or is this overanalyzing?

ok I'm a gay guy..I think inless bi...but I just found it so heartbreaking, icky feeling to see a girl/ woman take a guy that I find attractive. I just really extremly hate it. I hate to see a woman with a cute guy. I wonder how can I try to avoid these feelings. I guess I'm just extremly jealous of women...I think?

i live in utah and there are no fleas here, i'm switching his diet from puppy chow to adult chow still pedigree though... he ate a small piece of a hershey kiss (not even a quarter of it) then he pooed BRIGHT red, thick, tomato soup lookin stuff and now (two days later) it's like red water with little bits of red chunks in it , what do i do??? i keep cleaning it up but most of the time he can't even make it to the door

I do see the purpose of religion as far as moral codes, hope, etc. But what I am seeing more and more now is the devisive nature of religion--and it seems to be breeding more hate, than hope. I wonder how many millions of people have died in the name of God--and is that what people really think he would want? I consider myself a spiritual person--and my belief system is more Christian than any other, but I can see truth and beauty in many religions and cultures. I think diversity is beautiful, why does it make others so angry?

Many people say that L.A. is a model of diversity and diversity is a great thing. But is it really diverse in real terms, and could there be a such thing as being overly diverse?

This is how I see it. First, I value learning from all types of people - it definitely makes life interesting. But, at the same time, socially speaking I generally enjoy being around people with whom I can relate. I think that is human nature. It's hard to find many people to become friends with in L.A. because in some ways the city is overly diverse.

Moreover, many ethnic groups tend to socialize with their own people anyhow - so the idea of being a "melting pot" is inaccurate. The Armenians hang with other Armenians, the Mexicans with other Mexicans, the Persians with other Persians, etc.

I think the lack of unity in L.A. is a major drawback. L.A. is not diverse in practical terms - this is not a melting pot...it's just a collection of fragments.

Would you spend an hour to watch a documentary on soap or paper clips? Like...how they're made, where the idea came from, details like that. On any regular appliance. I chew my nails but my worst habit would be embarassing my wife in public like yelling to her from the other end of the aisle in the grocery store, "Is this 36 pack of Trojans going to be enough until we come shopping next week!" She doesn't think it's very funny.

Lately i'm having a lot of problems controlling my emotions, i get short with a lot of people and its starting to take a toll on the ones i love... i need help. I've been really stressed lately cause my dad is overbearing, and i'm on the college search and about to move out and i think that might have something to do with it... Ive been trying to deal with it but the more i bottle it up the worse it gets... i need any advice i can get....
