Yes - what you need to look at is total carbohydrate not just sugar (though sugar affects your blood sugar much more quickly and this is esp. important if you have type 2 diabetes). As the mango ripens it doesn't gain any carbs, it just changes more complex carbs (which affect your blood sugar more slowly, sim. to bread for example) to simple carbs, ie. sugar. If you carb count you should probably count it as the same, but if you have type 2 diabetes a green mango might be better to eat than a ripe one as far as your blood sugars go. Mangos are high in sugar as fruit goes - about 15g/100g compaired with an average of about 10g/100g, eg. for an apple. If you want low carb fruit, berries contain v little carbs, and if it's just for a snack not a desert, tomatoes and cherry tomatoes won't significantly affect your blood sugar at all!
On a non-diabetes topic - sorry but don't they taste horrible when they're not ripe? And wouldn't they give you diorhea?
Anyway, sorry - hope that helps xx

Many common natural remedies are claimed to have blood sugar lowering properties that make them useful for people with or at high risk of diabetes. Learn here https://tr.im/KfVg2
A number of clinical studies have been carried out in recent years that show potential links between herbal therapies and improved blood glucose control, which has led to an increase in people with diabetes using these more 'natural' ingredients to help manage their condition.

I'm afraid that Green Mangoes will increase your blood sugar levels. Mangoes are high in fructose, a simple sugar.

i really do not think so, u see another thing is that unripe mangoes are not as sweet as ripe ones. and mangoes are fruits and fruits are good for you.
Stay away from the carbs and fatty foods. and you will be just fine.
be careful of unripe fruits, u see development of fruits gets rid of excesses in the fruit and makes it ready for us to eat. occasionally it is ok, i love green mangoes they are the best but i try not to over do it because i know it can be bad for me.
Check out the website in one of ur other answers and good luck with ur health. God will keep blessing u.

The greener ones are better than the ripe ones for diabetics. Please wash the mangoes properly three or four times to completely remove the milk and eat with the skin. Do not peel the skin.Washing is important to remove the milk which is bad.

Diabetes is usually treated through a combination of diet (low sugar), exercise and medications/insulin. Milder cases can be controlled with just diet an/or exercise while more severe cases require meds or insulin as well.
