Basically, we borrowed some money from my Husbands Grandma and before we could pay it back she, sadly, died. We did pay some of it back but his uncle says that we have to give him his share of the money. We think that as there were no legal contracts signed (it was only for £2000) that it is a finished debt, but the Uncle, who will be getting £100,000 inheritance says he wants his share! Help!

Have you noticed how many questions on here that the first part of the problem is a lack of communication? If only these people would be open and honest with the other, the bulk of the list wouldnt even be here.

According to the Gospels, Joseph of Arimathea gave his tomb for the burial of Jesus. According to mythology he was one of the richest men in all Judea.

One problem...No credible evidence of a city/town/place called Arimathea ever existing has been found, even by christian scholars.

So who was he really? Some christian scholars claim Arimathea is an anagram for the town Ramathaim-Zophim in Ephraim. But if the title is really an anagram, then (h)a-rama-theo is certainly closer and much more credible. (h)a-Rama-Theo or "His Divine Highness" points to Joseph being of Royal blood.

The Herod's were not of the line of David, but Jesus was supposedly through his father Joseph, which would make his father the "divine highness" in exile. Who then really was Joseph? and why doesn't the gospels make this clear with a real placename, or clear title?

a theist or an atheist?

I was just thinking about the universe, it's ~13 billion years old, the earth has been around for ~4 billion, earth will be dead one day and the universe will continue. I think it's pretty rad that I get to experience a sliver of existence. To me, it's more wonderous than heaven.

Yesterday one guy who fancies me (he hasn't told me about his feelings yet, but I can tell he's interested) - Fred- sent me a text-message apologising for his teasing me and another guy who I am interested in (Ben). The point is my friendship with Ben seems to grow - we laugh, playfully joke with each other, touch and what not and Fred commented that our feelings started to grow, but Ben started denying it. Though usually when I provocatively joke about the state of our relationship, he says nothing, but smiles. I thought that Fred was just jealous of me becoming closer to Ben. Also Ben joked about Fred liking me, cause it was very obvious. And in a text-message Fred hinted to me that Ben liked me! And they see each other every day, they work with each other... But i'm in a bit of a loss now, because if Ben liked me he would have acted by now...And if this other guy likes me why would he hint that the other one likes me too? Kind of revenge that Ben jokes about Fred's feelings for me?

two brothers are always stealing things
their mother sends them to the priest for confession
the first boy goes in staring at the ground.
The priest asks "Where is God??" the boy continues to stare at the floor, the priest asks the question again he still stares at the floor then looks up and shrugs his shoulders.
the priest tells him to go and send his brother in
he sees his brother in the corridor and says "He wants you to go in, they think we've stole God."

I am about to graduate from Uni and am toying with the idea of starting my own Courier firm. I have my eye on a good VW Transporter van (the VW equivalent of a Transit van) with which to start, myself as the driver (so basically, for a while, I'd be a long-distance white man man!). As I progress I would buy better and bigger vehicles whilst offering the same good, reliable and personal service.

I have a gimmick which I believe will put me ahead of rival, more established firms (nothing big, just enough to give me a bump start in to the market).

So what is involved, after I buy my own van- or is that really all there is to it (obviously including the right insurance etc etc).

Thanks!

from the "holy" bible to a "holy" mosque... these are surely labels that man has chosen to apply to such objects... therefore when something is "holy" it is just a "self proclaimed" holy-ness... is that right?
