I was moving our couch and our cat snuck under it. I went to put it down and I didn't see him. He let out a loud meow and then I immediately lifted it back up. He ran upstairs, hid under the bed for about an hour and now's he's back to his normal routine -- eating, frolicing with our other cat, letting me hold him and pet him, running after his toys, etc. He does not appear to be hurt at all. I was concerned about his neck but he's moving his neck and head just fine. Should I take him to the vet just in case???? I felt so damn bad when this happened!!

A friend and I had a debate about global warming. He insisted it was real and was being caused by humans. What was so funny is every peice of evidence I brought out against it, he had a comeback so outrageous. I talked about how cold it has been, and he said that was a sign of global warming. I mentioned how back in the 70's the big scare was global cooling, he said that was the beginning. No matter what I said, he had an outlandish comeback. I even mentioned about passing gas being related to GW, as a joke of course, and he said yes, it is true, and he was sincere. I personally think that these tree-hugging bug lovers will grasp at anything, no matter how ridiculous it is, and relate it to GW. Perhaps when he catches a cold, he will say it is because of GW.

until the wife gets back home from her trip - i have uncovered that i am 100% better when my family is around me. in the three weeks that she's been away i have turned into this slob, that pays no attention when he's driving, eating sleeping crapping, gabbing, slabbing - the point is time to clean up this circus act - its getting pretty darn old - so, my question - i am gonna drive back home now so if any has the abilkity to track my car - do so and let my wife now i will drive safer - and one other thing the wife and i botha have amazing communication skills and we tell each other everything and she knows all about my addiction progam and i know about the novels she rights and lefts - good morning and g0oodnite all.

How can I teach my students the past perfect tense, without mentioning the rule or the fact that I'm teaching them past perfect?

I am 16 and I want to pursue a racing career.

But I dont know if i have the funding to start it. How can i go about doing this?

Do go-kart racing leagues require you to own your own kart to race in it? or will the provide one?

Any advice at all would help.

PS: I live in seattle area, and I am signed up for newsletters from Grand Prix Raceways, a go-karting establishment in Tacoma, and recently got a newsletter saying "The NW Indoor Karting Championships will return to GPR on Sunday, April 1st. We will have more fabulous prizes and a 200cc Pro class with a $500 purse for the top three drivers."

And "For Kart Racers there will be a pre-season Kart Prep seminar on February 21st at 7:00PM hosted by Dave Lehmann and 2006 Rotax Max National Champion Mike Rolison. Contact Dave at GPR for a flyer."
