I volunteer in a soup kitchen and we have no luck cooking rice and having it turn out decent. It always ends up really sticky. We cook enough for 100 people at a time. Any suggestions on how to have our rice turn out right would be very much appreciated. Thank you. (-:

But even now, in light of all the good news, the spectre of communism threatens to rear it's ugly head again; this time in Venezuala. A dictatorial madman has consolidated unprecedented power, crushed dissent and positioned himself to become a dictator-for-life. He has expressed an admiration for some of the past century's cruelest tyrants, including Fidel Castro.

Just when the world was almost healed from the wounds of communism, along comes another despot to open these injuries and pour salt into them. What now?

tonight at supper my family and i were talking and my dad mentioned that he didnt sleep good last night because our 2 kittens wanted to sleep in his face he said but i dont know which one it was. Then my mom said" well i know one cat that was on your face". Somehow I dont think she was talking about our kittens. Im 15 and what she said puts a chill down my spine. I just want to know what you think about it and if you have any stories so I know my parents arent the only ones

Everywhere I turn nowadays, one of the righty talking heads is using Jack Bauer as the excuse for "any means necessary." You guys know that that stuff didn't really happen, right? Remember The Lost Boys? Same guy!! He just is a little older now. I don't go around talking about how our defense budget should take into account the aliens from Independence Day. Can we let go of the "we need to torture people so that a TV show doesn't come true" argument?

ok, i have verizon wireless, and i know that on the bill u can see the incoming/outgoing calls. i was wondering if there was any way that u could block a certain # from showing up either way so that it would just come up unavailable or restricted on the bill. the question im trying to ask is kinda confusing, so i need to email or IM someone so that i can try and explain what i am talking about lol...so if theres anyone out there that knows verizon cell phones well, please help me! thanx soo much!

About once a month I lose all my bookmarks in my Mozilla Firefox browser...Why does this keep happening? What can I do to get my bookmarks back?

I usually have about 20 bookmarks so its frustrating to re-bookmark all of them! I checked the website, and most of the stuff there went right over my head. :-P

My opion is that these are the top 5 funniest guys to be in show business........ But if I had to pick one I'll have to go with Martin. He's the orignal host of Def Comendy Jam that kept the laughs coming(Martin was the best thing that happened for that show), he has two classic stand ups(RunTelDat and to my opion the funniest stand up ever, You So Crazy), he had the funniest sitcom ever, The Martin Lawrence Show( this show alone makes me think he's funnier then the others, I believe his show is the best work he's ever done, every appisode kept you laughing.), he made some classic movies(Thin Line Between Love And Hate, Bad Boys 1 & 2, National Security, Big Momma's House, Nothing To Lose, Life, Blue Streak, & etc.), he's great at animation & going into characters, and he's known to be one of the best freestyle add-lipping comendians of all time(Everyone that works with him says Martin is great at add-lipping & at the end of a episode they showed outtakes of Martin add-lipping alot)

Older kids between the ages of 10-16 just do NOT go to bed at 9pm anymore, (on a school night 'perhaps')...Don't you feel the sex, voilence on tv is just too adult for this age group...
What do you do, turn the TV OFF then get asked why, or do you sit and feel uneasy in fear of what's coming on 'next'?...Hmmmmmmmmm...

I used to take it before I got pregnant and now that I have had my baby, I want to start back up because it seemed to have a good effect on my mental health (made me calmer, etc.) Does anyone know along with the above questions, whether it is good for aging, sleep, weight loss, etc.
