Surely there is something better than "dad."

I thought it was just the headphones i was useing, so I got a new pair.... no help... then I assumed next it was a worn jack... i had been using the one in the back... still completely fuzzy... so I triued the one in the front... same story. Its all sound, all volume, all sources, from youtube, to my music, to anything i put in CD wise. Both jacks, and two pairs of headphones.
I think therefore its my soundcard.... so.... does anyone have a good patch?

ok, so my husband and I have a bou and would perfer to conceive a girl now. I have to "methods" thnat worked in my family. One, take your basal temerature every morning when you wake up and at a certain temp and RIGHT after your perioid ends, female sperm swim farther and the male sperm die off before...ok...method #2. Have sex eith 4 days before ovulation and 2 days before, or 3 days and one day before. Both worked in my family...coincidence...maybe, but has anyone heared of these or tried them? Please, only serious answers only. Leaving an answer that is a smart remark or sarcastic is only a waste of your time. We really do want to just make the chances of a girl stronger!

I'm doing a evaluation project in my marketing class about Kay Jewelers. Their campaign is "Every Kiss beigins with Kay." I need some insight or veiws on the consept. I've got a really bad cold and am trying to shake it. I take the dosage of NyQuil recommended on the bottle (2 TBSP, or 30 mL), and while it slightly allieviates my symptoms, it does NOT knock me out or really make me drowsy at all.

Does anyone have any speculations as to why? I'm a lightweight (about 101 lbs.), I don't drink heavily, I've never even used NyQuil before. Seeing as it's notorious for knocking people out for hours at a time, I'm wondering why I'm not getting the same effect.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Not my desk; asking for a friend. Anyway -- he has a little bowl that he keeps stocked with miniature chocolate bars, and people stop in his office to chat and have a choccy.

They'll even fly out the door when he's not around.

On one hand, this makes him, as you might imagine, popular at work. All manner of superiors and underlings stop in; the social aspects are a plus.

But it's starting to cost quite a bit.

Part of this is his fault; 'No, go ahead -- take two! Help yourself!' And he'd prefer not to pawn off cheap chocolates, too.

People above him have thrown him a few bucks, unsolicited, here and there for the chocolate bowl maintenance. But it's rare, and all told, paid for a about a weeks' worth. It is now a pretty expensive habit.

Suggestions, short of barking "Don't be piggy!" ...?

I have recently bleached my hair to platinum, after a week or two my hair started looking brittle, frizzy, and dry. I have seen other people who have platinum hair and their's doesn't look damaged at all. I hear that there is some purple hair toner product or something that takes the brassyness out, would this product help with the frizzyness? Or are there better products out there? I am willing to pay for a good product, but I am so lost. Please help!
