It's the hardest thing to possibly do, but the only way to do it: Ask for help... Ask your teachers, and they'll know you care and will help you the best they can, trust me (especially in Geometry!). Ask your parents to help: they'll know you are trying, and plus then they can see how hard it is and understand why you struggle! And about motivation- stick with it, and don't wait for motivation to come to you, it'll never happen with anything in life. You gotta start going, and it will come as you go! Good luck, I believe in you!!

Firstly forget being a failure to your parents you will not achieve any thing unless it is YOU who wants to achieve a education and why worry about stuff like Geometry do things that you enjoy and work hard at them can i ask how old you are ,I am a mentor and work with youngsters and motivation has to come from you but don't be afraid it is a common thing and if you don't achieve at this time you can go to college later when you know what you want concentrate on the basics English maths the core subjects you will need them later on in life and will save you lots of time Hun
P.S just asking this question shows you are a responsible young person find you self then decide what you would like to do and then it will become easier to go for it what you want mind not anyone else OK

First of all make a list of all the things which you want to be able to buy when you're older.. could be a car, house, lots of make-up, clothes...that usually motivates me. Anyway seriously though - as long as you try your best that's all that matters, but nevertheless maybe you could get a tutor. There are a lot of online websites which help with revision, such as bytesize.com. Go out and buy a few study guides especially for the subjects which you find the most difficult and finally find yourself a study buddy. Whatever you do just remember try your best...it's the most anyone should ask of you including your parents.

Positive thinking will get you a long way when it comes to studying. Study environment is very important. Make sure you are in a quiet room with no distractions and try to find ways to make the geometry more interesting to you. Don't be afraid to ask your teachers for help because they will also have great tips to help you study or even approach your parents about finding you a tutor to give you that extra help you need. Don't go in to a test thinking you are going to 'BOMB THE TEST". Go in thinking i can do this!!!

if u have a lotta trouble in geometry than spend more time on it. i dont believe that u can still bomb tests even when u study, u probably weren't studying right, just reading the text over and over won't help, u need to make jot notes and write things down because thats how we remember things, and for math, all u can do to improve is do more math problems, practice is important. stick a piece of paper on the wall infront of ur desk or somewhere that says I DON"T WANT TO BE A FAILURE anymore or something like that to remind urself of why ur working hard, think about how happy u would make ur parents when u do better in school, and smile in the mirror and say I CAN DO IT in the morning to get urself motivitated. getting good grades takes work, self-discipline, and time, so dont give up, u have it in u, u just need to bring it out.

GOOD LUCK

Hey, wish I could help, but I'm kinda in the same fix (especially the motivation part). But if you figure out the geometry proofs, let me know. They're killing me! lol

Oh, and one thing I found helps much more than saying "I don't want to be a failure" is saying "I want to succede," and even better, "I cannot fail; I will succede."

some people just take longer to learn then others (myself included). maybe try a tutor or stay late after classes for 1 on 1 q & a's with your teachers. you would be amazed what you can do and remember if you really want to!!

well what you could do is ask your teacher to give you some help i am so sure your teacher will help you. It turns out that, that is what teachers are there for lol.And then if you really want to do well, you could see whether your teachers are doing an extra class! good luck

Ask your teacher for help. Please also tell your parents that you're having trouble in this subject. You will get the help you need.
