It makes it an awful lot less fun to go see a game when you have to worry about your safety. And I pity those poor cops who have to manage security among the drunken, amped up fans, some of whom go to the game looking for a fight. I wouldn't blame the police union in Italy if they said they weren't going to do security at matches any more. It's not a whole lot different in many of the other leagues around Eurpoe, either.

i hope people understand that the main objective of football is to unite people from all over the world under one langauge , the language of football
which is ( love and uniting )
i dont know why people kill for something doesnt deserve all that hate and voilence
i hope people think again about that
there is no team is the best all the time and no team is bad all the time
u need to understand that ur team is not going to win forever
or not going to win forever

It was a tragedy, the game is not stupid although some of it fans are;hooliganism has been tolerated too long in soccer and this is the sad result.

it's horrible.. their talking about playing games behind closed doors now which is pretty leniant if you ask me. If they really want to make a stand then relegate both teams involved down to serie C. I would of said get rid of both teams.. ban them from playing soccer anymore but thats unrealistic.. there's shareholder's involved.. it's a big business.

Maybe that's why soccer doesn't sell too well in the U.S.
