Your correspondent above is right. The play version is known as "Ten Little Indians".

You can buy used copies of the script from Amazon for as little as 49 cents a copy.

Have you tried the library? Amateur drama groups should be able to borrow copies for free. If there aren't currently any performance restrictions you should also be able to hire copies from Samuel French in London (or USA if you are from there)

If it helps I think on the stage it was called 10 Little Indians, after some obscure nursery rhyme!

It was originally called Ten Little ****** boys, but it was later changed to Ten little Indian boys. The story originated from a nursery rhyme. Ten little Indian boys siting down to dine, One went and cut himself, and then there were nine.Nine little indian boys swinging on a gate, One went and broke his neck and then there were eight. etc, etc, etc.
