old television show can't remember the name?

the guy had a symbol in his hand and was in search of these pyramids and the symbol would glow i think he was looking for a way home i think there was a falcon in it also

not beastmaster. i remember that much. one of the songs that played in it was chariots of fire or a song real close to that
