First off I listen to drex in the morning 103.5 I love it! Anyway, a lady listener emailed the dj this topic. She was wondering if people that have std's like herpes should be in a job market handling food.
Her experience was that one day on her way to work she stopped a local coffee shop for some expresso. Anyway, the guy who took her ordered had what she claimed to be herpetic lesions all over his mouth. The lady was so grossed out she did not order anything. She came up with the solution that when a worker has noticeable lesions they should not be allowed to be in the front part of an establishment. What do you think?

Okay I just got a bunny & I noticed every once & a little while she will sneez then only a tiny bit of wet-ness apears on her nose.

Other that that she's very active and her poops are fine, she's also eating and drinking well and she's breathing fine too.

I was told I should get her bytril,

Do you know why she might be like this?

Her cage had some pigeon poop in it from my other pet pigeon do you think thats what could have made her this way?, I cleaned the cage well before putting her in it.

Also when she sneezes she grunts sometimes.

Thanks!

Julius Ceaser was a populist passing many laws improving the common citizen's quality of life. Octavian did wonders for the infrastructure and moral of Rome. I suppose you could make a case for Alexander but he never truly "ruled" so that is speculation.

I need dictators over the course of history outside of the Ramses and Romans. We're talking true dictators with absolute or fairly close to absolute power who were gracious to their people, diplomatic, and just all around good guys.

Dictators from the middle ages (Charlemagne is too obvious), Renissance, and the modern world fitting this mold who are fairly well known is what I am looking for.

Thank for your help!

Comparing two wonderful fathers
Families are possibly the most important aspect in any society .Mother or the father sometimes in their own little world forgetting if they have children who look up to them. Children watch and record every move that their parents make with them, and in front of them. But most of the time parents seem not to recognize that. However, these two poems “My Papa’s Waltz” by Theodore Roethke, and “Those Winter Sundays” by Robert Hayden can be compared and contrasted from their structure, images, and tones.
First stanza in “My papa’s Waltz” presents a clear picture of a young man’s father, that explain a drinking father who hung on life through thin and think in line (1-4) “The whiskey on your breath” the “whiskey” demonstrates a olfactory image and “but I hung on like death” the second Stanza in line (5-6) “We romped until the pans slid from the kitchen shelf” show the boy was having fun with his father.
The poem “My Papa’s waltz”, by Theodore Roethke shows a regular structure with a perfect rhyme pattern: breath, death, dizzy, easy. It has a set form that consists of four stanzas and employs strict stanza structure. “My Papa’s waltz” has tactile imagery in line (11-13) “At every Step you missed/ My right ear scraped a buckle/You beat time on my head.” That makes us a reader more sensitive and creates vivid details with sense of sight “My mother’s countenance” line 7.
In Those Winter Sundays” by Robert Hayden presents free verses, end rhyme. Enjambment in lines shows no regular pattern, no exact pattern and no visual structure of stanzas. The first stanza has five lines and the second has four. The poem does not seem to rhyme. First stanza explain hard working father who wake up early everyday and even on Sunday morning like the other days becomes a routine for him. His father gets up early and dresses up in the cold darkness, sounds painfully cold; his “cracked hand” means hard working man. In “Blazing” the fire that the father creates, “Breaking” sounds of wood and “chronic anger” that rules the house the image of that man up early in the morning. “Banked fires blaze. No one ever thanked him” (line 5) this image is very touching because his boy who sound like a teenager didn’t show appreciation.
In “Those Winter Sundays” poem, the speaker present concrete images the narrator is thinking about coldness. He does not understand the meaning of his father’s action. “My Papa’s Waltz” and “Those Winter Sundays” are two somewhat similar poems about respected fathers. They talked about hard working fathers. The father is the man that brings food to the table and spends time with them. In these two poems Roethke and Hayden take an admiring look back at the action of their fathers. Both parents were not perfect they show different form of love and clear picture of their fathers. The structures of the poems show for a better understanding, using rhyme and meter and other form of structure.

I just moved to pa, 7 months ago. When I lived in new york I had a career in a hospital for almost 4 years as a nurse assistant. Now in the past 7 months in PA. I've gone through 3 jobs and wasn't happy with any of them. I had a job in a assisted living, didn't pay me enough for what they wanted us aids to do. In fact we where getting paid less there at the assisted living then my second job at a hotel and at the assisted living I was doing a lot more for the elderly then I was doing for anyone at the hotel. I had to leave the hotel after 3 months for discrimination they did to me. Last job was a waitress for 1 week, The manger had me going home in tears every night. I've filled out more applications then I can count. I have experience in Nurse's assistant, customer service, retail and I've even tried to get a cookbook published.....nothing. Any suggestions

Just had my 2nd reading, and received 7.1 or 115 fasting reading. First time it was 7.0. I have absolutely no symptoms of any kind. I have quit smoking, am active, try to exercise at least 3 to 4 times a week. I feel great, rarely have any illness. I am however, at 68 yrs of age, about 10 lbs overweight and attribute some of that to quiting smoking. (2 mths aga). I'm not a med person, should I worry more about the blood sugar, or the medication.
