Recently I've discovered that I had it but I have no clue on how to use it! Any help?

I understand that the Gift of Prophecy is of God's Word and all it's just that I don't understand HOW I can use it. Another guy with the gift and who knew how to use it already gave me startling prophecies and even figured out stuff bout me I didn't tell him. I'f like to figure out how to manage that...

I don't specifically have it, however there have been a couple times God has given me a gift of prophecy as I was speaking to someone. Also sometimes prophecy is something to come, or things in the past and sometime it is a word of encouragement. The best thing you can do is study God's word so that when He prompts you will be ready to answer but trust Him to give you the words to say. And quite often He'll help you study what He knows you'll end up sharing.

My husband has it, but our meaning of prophecy differs from yours. Im assuming you are christian, on that basis alone I cannot help you, you must learn to do it for yourself.
We believe prophecy is NOT one of the seven spiritual gifts. Its something christians made up to make them look important.
These are the gifts, unfotunately when the bible was written, they were torn out and erased from history.

Having the gift of Prophecy means that one is studied in Gods Word, The Bible, and studied in the Prophets that are written in Gods Word and can teach what the Prophets wrote. There are no new Prophets. ALL the Prophets are written of in Gods Word. Jesus said it Himself,..that ALL that is written of in His Word are for examples for us today.

If you have a spiritual gift from God, you do not 'use it' in the sense that you own it and can use it at will. You are the vessel, God is the Master. He will use you when He wishes. You must be open and agree to it, then when the time is right, God will work through you. You must remember that it is always God's power, NOT YOUR OWN. When you have understood that and are strong to resist the temptation to claim the power as your own, God will begin His work through you.

If you have a gift of prophecy, at least according to the Bible, then you can do a few things.
1. Predict things after they happen.
2. Predict something inevitable.
3. Predict something that will never happen.
