Alright, like someone else said, people really should not answer if they don't know for sure.

Chicken pox CAN reoccur/be caught again, it is just rare that this happens. As an adult it is usually worse. Adults can also get a related thing called shingles.

If you really want to know things like this, it would be best to ask your doctor.

I really wish people would not answer if they do not know the correct answer! Yes, you can get chicken pox again, if the first time wasn't bad enough to build up an immunity! I am thirty and I have had them twice, once as a child and once when my son got them......

Yes. Chicken pox does not give lifelong immunity. However, a second attack is very rare except in immunocompromised patients, such as those being treated for cancer. You can get herpes zoster (shingles) though, if the virus remains in the body.

wow, this is the first time you have ever had chicken pox????I thought people got that disease when they were real young.To answer your question, no your not suppoes to get chicken pox again after you already had it once . But then again I thought you got chicken pox with the other chidhood diseases. please take care!!
