Don't take love songs and delude yourself. I'm gonna love you forever and ever, you're the woman of my dreams, blah blah blah. It isn't real. Love isn't like that. It's about give and take, sacrifice, loving someone and sticking by them when things are at their worst and you both feel miserable. Only true love will see you through times like these, and they're hard and they're painful. Wine and roses, stars and love songs are nice, but no Prince Charming stays that way, because he's a fairy tale. I just want to give you a heads up and maybe help to prevent a broken heart or two. I guess my question would be, can you understand that? Hope so. Blessings to all...

So the doc fills 1 cup with pure water and the second with whisky. He drops a worm in the cup of water and lets it swim for a while. He then puts the worm in the Whisky. The worm is dead in seconds. The doc asks him if he learned anything. The husband replies: "Yea, if I drink Whisky, I won't get worms...Thanks doc, have a nice day"!

I am always hearing stories, or reading these questions about unhappy marriages and losing the love for your spouse.

I am 23 and my boyfriend is 24, we met in college and have been dating for 2 years. I know many people say this, but for me it is absolutely true, that he is my best friend. We talk about anything and everything, I can rely on him and count on him for anything. He is attentive and sweet and charming, he even cooks dinner, takes out the trash and cleans house!!

My question is, we are talking more and more about marriage and I am thinking (hoping!) that the question will be asked soon! But after reading all these horror stories, and having his own brother going through a divorce, we are both scared. I understand things change over the years, but what are some ways that you have kept your marriage strong? And do you think its possible in this day and age for a young couple to make it?

my face always stays red, but when i hold my arm up next to my face it looks like two whole diff. skin tones. my face always stays pale and pinkish but the rest of my body tans nicely. is this a skin condition? how can i tone down the redness with a natural remedy? does lemon juice work? i have very sensitive skin also so no harsh tips please! thank you

I bought a 55 gallon starter kit from petsmart the other day and when i set it up i realized that the heater they gave me isn't powerfull enough to heat my tank. It sits in a room with no heating so we have a bunch of heater in there but the temp fluctuates pretty often. I am looking for a heater or 2 that will be able to withstand the temp changes. Any suggestions?

Gays feel everything about members of their own sex that straights feel about members of the opposite sex, item for item, facet for facet. Straight people cannot fathom being attracted to members of their own sex, so why is it so hard to comprehend that gays feel the same way about the opposite sex? Are we all making this issue way too complicated?

Maybe "preference" isn't always the best word to use, anymore than "lifestyle" describes gay existence. Are we not doing as good a job communicating as we think we are? Or is someone just not listening?
