so i decided this is the year i grow some balls and audition for canadian idol
i'm only 17, which is pretty young for the event ( you gotta be 16).

dude, bad choice... or, i mean, at least get some music sing with, you know? it REALLY helps with everything. and it seems like you're trying get it to sound emotional and like heart-breaking or something, dude, sorry to do this, but it's not working. relax a bit, listen to the song properly sung a million times more, rehearse at home each day, NO exceptions and sometimes when you put your hands over your ears while you sing you can hear the notes better.

and if all else fails (as i rather expect it to) LIP-SYNC
