Plummer is still a very good QB but he no longer fits into the Broncos picture. Jake took the money when he got out of college and went to the Cardinals where he played well on a very bad team. He has played well in Denver but went into a funk and in a situation like that if you play poorly there is no one to pull you out of it, the fans boo, the coaches are looking to take your job and the owners and thinking about how much they have to pay you. Jake could have more good years even if he has to go to a team and be a back up. Charlie Batch plays behind Rothlisberger in Pittsburgh but the truth is he plays very well when in there and has a decent offensive line. Batch could start in most places but he played years with bad teams and no pass protection. Plummer can play and someone should pick him up as I don't think Denver wants to pay him anymore. He is a good guy, not an A hole or villain, he can help a team.

He will probably go to the Texans as a free agent because he is close to Texans coach Gary Kubiak, although the Broncos could resign him if they want to bad enough. If they don't sign him, he will be the best QB available (unless you think Jeff Garcia is better). So, realistically he could end up anywhere for the right money.

He can still play. He should hopefully be traded somewhere because he can still get it done. Soon shanahan will realize benching him was a mistake.
