Depends on your cycle it can be a week or two before your period.

Sometimes after if your cycle didn't flush the egg out.

Well, since the typical period is 28 days and ovulation is 14 days before your period, really neither. You would have the easiest time getting pregnant between the end of your period and the beginning of the next.

I think its easier after for its easier to know when you are ovulating for its usually for most 14 days after your first day of your period.. so if you were to have unprotected sex and were trying to concieve you have better chances to do so either the day before the 14th. You could try and do it the otherway as in if you already know when your period is going to happen if you dunno when you started last by counting however many days your perticular cycle is since some can vary and once you have an idea when that cycle began count 14 forward... to me sounds like to much work hah.. I would stick to after my period my self.. Since they say the ovulation egg only lives for like about 1 or 2 days in able to get pregnant mode once released and is in the right position..

Hope that helps

About two weeks after.
Your period doesn't have much to do with pregnancy, that is just the body shedding itself of the lining that a fertilised egg should attach to.
Conception is easier during ovulation- when the egg is released from the ovary, and that is generally about two weeks before your period begins, but depends on the length of your cycle.

if you have a 28 day cycle then your most fertile 7days after your period stops or 14 days before your next period is due. Why not use an ovulation calender to work out your most fertile time based on your cycle length, you can get a free ovulation calender at www.planningpregnancy.com

Ovulation occurs about 14 days after the first day of your period. Intercourse a day before or up to a couple of days after ovulation is most likely to result in pregnancy.

It is roughly in between. It will depend on how long your cycle is.

Mine is just 1 week after my period because I have a short 3week cycle.
