My husband recently recieved a collections notice in the mail, for an account with a date from 1997 on it. We've never gotten anything from this company before, and when we checked our credit reports (yes all 3 credit companies) there was nothing on there about this account. I've already checked the company and it is a legitimate company, but something about this doesn't seem right. We're in the process of writing a letter of dispute, but I was wondering if anyone has any other suggestions of what we should be doing about this?

I'm from the deep south where there is very warm climate. I'm planning on moving somewhere very north. What are some things I should be aware of weather wise? Like what are things that have to be done when it's snowing? What do you think I should know? I've never seen snow before, much less lived in it.

I'm applying to a scholarship, but I don't understand what does it mean by
ON A SEPERATE PAGE (limit response to one-half page, single-spaced, each for items 8,9 &10)
does this means I have to write half page with single-spaced for each of the question 8, 9 & 10?

I am 29wks pregnant. I have gained very little weight so far - although my belly has popped up and out (fundal height being 29cm exactly).

I have not purchased maternity clothes.. i simply don't like them. I like the clothes i have now and certain ones are still ok. Some are a bit ... snug! lol. But i just put them to the side and wear what i can fit.

Did anyone else not wear maternity clothes through out there pregnancy?

Also is it probable that i will put a whole lot of weight in my last 11wks? My appetite at the moment is very small and i have to make myself eat.. will this last?

me and a friend of mine been fighting for over 3 months, even tho we both wanna be together, lately i had an emotional-brekadown infront of him and he's like this must end. the day after, i called and apologized about the drama iv been causing and i told him it's not fair that he judge me for the way i was that time, cause we know each other for around 4 years! he was like ok no problem..
now, we'r back.. kinda better.. i mean i lost a lot of the feelings i had for him, and he got pretty much cocky on me! i asked him wheather he got back bcz he wants to or bcz I wanted to, he said bcz i aplogized and he wants us 2 b friends, long story short...
Now, i think that he think that iv DYING over him and i cant live w\o when the truth is i just dont wanna lose a friend nor the good relationship we had back then bcz of hard phase i went through..
i feel so bad about myself that he thinks that, that im weak and that he's better than me.. wat should i do?

In my world geography we're doing a mock trial on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. Right now, the witnesses (I am Yasser Arafat) need to write a deposition paper state some background information about your character and then write out questions for you attorneys on your team to ask you. For a hacker to get someone's password, does the computer user have to first either get a virus and/or let a hacker get past the firewall, and after all that, does the hacker then have to figure out the password?

I'm just trying to figure out if a hacker can take control over passwords by simply figuring them out, or does the computer user first have to get a virus and/or let someone get past the firewall.

If someone gets a virus and someone gets past the firewall, does that pretty much means your passwords are going to be affected/compromised, or do they have to get past the final step of cracking your password?
