Well if you two really have a good time together than why not? If you care about him than you should definitely go for it. If you don't, someone else might ask him out and you'll have lost your chance with him. Just tell him you love him or if you can't get the L word out than tell him you really like him and was wondering if you want to go out sometime. If you don't know eachother that well than ask him to go to a movie with you and a bunch of your friends so it doesn't look like a date but you still get to be around him. Then see where it goes from there. Good luck!!

Well, you said that you wanted to be his girlfriend, so im guessing this isn't just a temporary crush.
My advice would be to talk to him as a friend, because the best relationships start off as friendships... if there's a dance coming up or something, ask him to go with you, as friends... (you dont have to mean the "just friends" part). Trust me, if you start off as friends, you'll have a much better relationship later on.
If you try to push it, and go too fast, then he might just get pushed away, and become less interested, instead, tell him you're just friends... so that he'll feel less threatened... and if you think he likes you, then flirt with him.

ask him you have absolutly nothing to lose! I had this proablem in 8 grade, when I got up the nerve to ask him it turned out he liked me but was just to scared to ask me! Go for it! It could end up that he wanted to ask you!!!!!!
