Who is the judge of who is ugly and who isn't? Since you asked a question I'll answer it. A person is rejected because they are not appealing to the rejecter. This does not make them ugly only unsuitable for that person. What is ugly to some is not to others. So there is no real answer to that question.
Have a nice day

People who are ugly on the inside are most likely to get rejected as suppose to those who are ugly on the outside. They are not rejects because there is someone out there for everyone who will love them for who they are and not what they look like. What you may think of as ugly may not be ugly to someone else.

It's a social thing I think. Many people would prefer to be surrounded by beautiful things, then ugly ones. Things that are pleasing to the eye have always been important to us, flowers, bright colours, shiny cars, etc.
I don't think that ugly people are rejects, although anyone who would not be friends with someone based on their appearance is a fool and not worth hanging around anyway.

the question should have been, ' why do ugly people seem to be rejects'? the key word is seems. pretty people are usually so self-centred and dumb that they think if their group excludes someone then they are rejected by all. this is, on the whole , not true, it is just that pretty people wander around in a delusional fog of self admiration. if you are a pretty person, you will find as you grow older that your shallowness and attraction to superficial appearance means that you have only been capable of forming relationships with other narcissistic people, whose first and deepest love is themselves. for example celebrities who marry dancers. i pity you as your life will end in an emotional wasteland.

I never knew that ugly people were rejects. I would question that thinking though.

When I was born they called me "ugly". When I
went to school, they called me "ugly" In college,
they called me "ugly" I met a man who was "ugly", and
we had an "ugly" baby. But, we won the lottery,
and guess what....everybody thinks we are "pretty"
now. What's the moral of this story?
