Video games such as Half Life, Halo, Doom3, or Call of Duty make me feel like throwing up after playing for about 15 to 20 minutes. I think that the reason is that "looking" through the character's eyes moving around in the video games makes me feel this way. Do you have similar experiences? How do you adjust so that you don't feel like throwing up anymore when playing these kinds of games?

Last Friday my husband made a deposit in our checking account by using the drive through. Made it after 2:00 p.m. and I assume most know the rule that it does not go through until Monday. So I check my account late Monday night to see if deposit went through and it had not. So I check again Tuesday, they made the deposit then withheld the amount of my husband pay roll check. I receive a letter on Wednesday stating that the check was not in my enclosed deposit that it was missing. On Friday after making sure the check was not around I called my husband's employer and got telephone number to call and see if check had came back. Well it had. So I had them submit a copy to my bank. Well now the bank is saying the check was cashed and cash was gave back to us. Our copy of our deposit ticket says we deposited xxxx amount and now the bank is saying that was wrong. Is the bank liable to deposit the amount that is on the copy of the deposit ticket>?

this afternoon when i am having a bowl of hot noddle i suddenly have a deep pain just under my right chest,i stand up and try to relax ,suddenly my body when cold and i fainted.luckly my friend was with me,when i regain conscious i was perspiring heavily ,my friend took me to the doctor ,my blood pressure have dropped to 100 and my pulse rate have dropped to 63 per min ,i was told by the doctor that the food i have taken contain some chemical that causes this,i am not sure if this is the case and hope to know if there is any other answer

It's 15 degrees below zero, snowing and icy enough to slip. I decided to artsy up an old book case because I need a place for school books... While I do have black spray paint I decided the weather was too horrible to stand in the snow spraying for a good ten minutes.. sooo.. I did something amazingly stupid... I used black oil paint (for canvas') to cover the book case. The book case is made of the same material as most cheap office furniture that comes in a box and you have to assemble.. you know ply wood with a paper covering. Now the oil paint has been on for about an hour and is still rubbing off with even the slightest touch. My question is.... How long, if at all, with it take before the oil paint is dry and the bookcase is ready to use?
The bookcase is small and more for decorative use and I've given it a fabric lining which means I don't care if the paint isn't very durable. I just want to be able sit it on the floor without a big black ring. Thank you so much!

She was a loving burmese, v affectionate kitten. Now she bites herself and her sister and won't let anyone come near her. She has been like this for 2 days and keeps hiding in the corners of the room. She looks v angry and her ears are always flattened. Is this normal and is there anything I can do???

Recently, in defense of vote for the war in Iraq Hillary blames Bush exclusively for her ‘lack of intelligence’ in voting for Iraq war:

(Hillary 2007): ”I said that we should not go to war unless we have allies. So he took the authority that I and others gave him and he misused it, and I regret that deeply. And if we had known then what we know now, there never would have been a vote and I never would have voted to give this president that authority”.

However, in 2003, Hillary, had a different explanation for her vote: ..”that is for Saddam Hussein to disarm. And I have absolutely no belief that he will...I ended up voting for the resolution after carefully reviewing the information, intelligence that I had available, talking with people whose opinions I trusted, tried to discount the political or other factors that I didn't believe should be in any way a part of this decision. I would love to agree with you, but I can't, based on my own understanding and assessment of the situation.

I went to church when i was younger until i started to realize there wasnt really a good reason i should be believing in jesus. I mean i never really believed in him when i sat in the church pews and sang songs of praise every sunday morning. There is no use in pretending. i also started to take it to my cultures, i mixed im african and native american and christianity was used as justification to destroy my people. you might say it was the people that did that not the religion but i see the religion as there creation and belonging to their culture and not mine.so why should i believe?

Possibly the belief that being a Yank out of Yank territory is not necessarily encumbered by the attitude of `noblesse oblige`. Nor should it be.

To expect that we behave as embassy officials or ambassadors is to miss the point of living abroad.

We have the right to say `no` as much as to say `yes`. We shouldn`t allow people to exploit us or to scream in our face if we do not submit.

To be humiliated because of one`s country or to humiliate one`s country because of us is unfair and ungenerous; it should be admonished and discouraged.

Still, I think it comes from an attitude which many Americans encourage.....this is unwise and unfair to those of us who have lived abroad for years.

It is an attitude which plays musical chairs with people`s lives.

Those of us who live abroad should have a consulate which deals with internal affairs of American citizens and can help in crisis.

Full stop.

Some vandals broke 3 of our double glazed windows - toughened too! Does anyone know of a plastic film or similar that can be applied to make it extremely difficult to break? I know there are those that stop it from breaking in to a million pieces but i'm more interested in knowing if there is one that stops it breaking completely?

I noticed that ONLY tennis players who came from poverty, hard working class make it as Champs. The rest who came from wealth or high class or very good income parents, never get to make it as Champs.
The Williams sisters, brought up in the hard street of the Getto. Maria, brought up to suffer as a poor child in Siberia & when she was brought by her father to Florida. Federer, from hard working mother in a pharmasutical company. On the other hand, Kim,Dementiva, Kutnetzova, Petrova, Ivanovici, Safina, etc. They all were raised by rich or wealthy parents & could never have the champ quality.
My point is, does hard life makes champions ? Have u noticed this too ?

Hello Everyone,

Can anyone help me out. I am connected to a LAN through my laptop. I suddenly lost the ability to connect to any website no matter the browser I use. My Windows Media Player, Mozilla FireFox and IE can no longer work. Infact on my taskbar, only skype works.

So am wondering why and how I can log into skype but fail in anyother web activity.

I have pinged my DNS and everything is ok except for slow connectivity. I have restored to no avail. But when I plug in the LAN cable into another laptop, I get connected and I browse

So what could be the problem and what should I do.
