There are MANY on-line sites devoted to dream interpretation. Just do a search and you will find thousands.
But what they really come down to is fears and wants.
You have nightmares because you fear something.
You have good dreams about the things you want.
Are there any other kinds?
But for your purpose, just check out some of those sites.
For books, they were all written in the 1970s, the age of ESP, alien abductions and dreams. They should be easy to find at any library.

Dreams are very interesting indeed. They are the mind's way of sorting out things that have happened that day, or even years ago that we have not resolved. There is a lot of symbolism involved. Itr really is best to note your dreams when you wake, even if that is through the night. Any recurring themes mean that you must pay attention and try to solve the problem or you will keep dreaming the same thing.Look deeply in to the dream. and try to solve the message that the dream is so desparately trying to give you.

dream are emotional message that make the decision for you but yet when you are not sure what they are, dreams are fantasies, life you wish you could have remeber to wake up and make your fantatsies real by keeping to it and later time will give n and you will have it. it is like a goal and can be good or bad depending on the situation you are in now.

There are books on Dreams and what they symbolise, certain things have meanings to them. Libraries are helpful with books about dreams.
look on the net for sites that have info on dreams.
