Poor kitty, she is really stressed and needs lots of TLC to get over it. You can buy some Feliway to help reduce the stress and make for a faster recovery. It is a great product and works very well.
But to be on the safe side take her to the vet and have her checked.

Dear Kazbird***
I am horrified that you don't see your kitten in the same light as you would had it have been your very own human baby!!!!!!
What would you have done if it had been your child???? I don't think you would have asked anyone that question!!
Sorry if I sound a bit harsh, but as I train students at the Varsity in South Africa, I constantly remind them that animals MUST be viewed in the same light as an injured baby. They cannot speak and tell you when they are hurt or upset, but they will try and let you see through the change in their personalities and actions, and if you still do not respond then a little PAIN might get you to re-act.

She could be biting herself because she hurt herself. Take her to the vet to make sure she didn't hurt anything. Try and keep her away from the other cat for a few days. Also, don't push her to cuddle, just leave her be for a few days. Hopefully after a few days of letting her be, she will be better.

Usually when cats get irritated more than normal, they're in pain. They bite because they know they're weak and want to scare other to defend themselves. You need to check with the vet for possible inner injury. I don't know how kitty can get injured by falling down the toilet, but you never know.

It is very easy for a cat to be hurt or traumatised. And this reaction is a sign of either one. I would take your cat to the vet and make sure she didnt hurt herself. If she didnt, she probably just got her little kitty pride hurt and will be ok with time.

Is it possible she's hurt herself? Animals will normally behave that way when they hurt to be touched etc.
She sounds miserable - perhaps time to take her to the vet for a professional opinion.
