Video games such as Half Life, Halo, Doom3, or Call of Duty make me feel like throwing up after playing for about 15 to 20 minutes. I think that the reason is that "looking" through the character's eyes moving around in the video games makes me feel this way. Do you have similar experiences? How do you adjust so that you don't feel like throwing up anymore when playing these kinds of games?

I have quite a few friends that experience that feeling of nausea/giddyness when playing FPS games. I believe it's the same reason you get giddy when you look at objects through the side windows of a car that's moving quickly along a road.

I don't think there's a way for you to 'adjust' to this kind of thing. I've heard from one of my friends that he fixes this problem by taking breaks every 20 minutes or so of playing any one FPS game. He doesn't experience the feeling of throwing up when he plays 3rd-person perspective games and other genres, though.

So, just take minute breaks in between your time playing on the computer/console! There's always the 'Pause' button, no? :)

This does sound like a form of motion sickness *nods* It's not uncommon with highly graphical 3d games with a lot of motion and action. (Back in the day I even experienced some of the symptoms you've described playing Doom on the PC). The best advice I can offer is to read the Health and Safety precautions that come with the games and take them to heart. Play for short periods of time in a well lit room, and whenever you feel nauseous you should stop and take a break. Perhaps look into anti-motionsickness medication, as your friend suggested, but that might be a bit extreme. Out of curiosity, do you wear glasses or contact lenses at all? I noticed I got less motionsickness playing games once my Myopia was diagnosed and I got my glasses. If that's the case, remember to always wear them while you're playing.
