Here's the deal. In September I was arrested for a DWI,in NYS however the charges were reduced to a DWAI. I am thinking of signing up for the police test but don'twant to waste my time if I'm never going to get hired because of my DWAI. Thank you.

My husband just informed me, last night, that his niece is going through a divorce.
Here's the kicker:
She and her husband just finished having a very lavish (and expensive) wedding ceremony a year ago! So many ppl were invited and she was so happy about her marriage and preparations for the wedding.
The reason for this divorce:
Her husband went to Iraq not long after their wedding and met someone else. (Sad, but unfortunately, not uncommon).
The question:
Since she is obviously very upset and beside herself and, though, we're not particularly close, I wanted to extend my apologies, but have reservations. Would she view this as my "rubbing it in" in any way? I find myself walking on egg shells. Or do I just say nothing and wait for "the hurt" to subside?
Oh, one more thing, she lives 600 miles north of me and my husband.
What do you think I should do?
Please, no psarchastic comments or criticisms. I only look for educated insight.

Does anyone know what I can do about eBay ignoring a bid? I put it in about twenty minutes before the item ended -- my bid was $35 -- and someone else won for $26.50. Does this happen often on eBay? They are saying I never made the bid but I definitely did.

I had a room canal done about 10 years ago and the last couple of days feels like that tooth is hurting. thought it was the one beside it but now I'm almost positive it is that tooth. Can you get pain years after having a rootcanal. Can you get an infection or something in the tooth. Just wondering.

As we all know, the earth is 90% water. If that's the case, like one of it's big continents above it, underneath is a huge concave land feature that could possibly contain some sort of an unimaginable land features that support life. There could possibly be an abyss or a certain place that could be liken to an upside down bottle being dipped down to the bottom of the water where the air is trapped. However, oxygen inside could be supplied by some kind of a channel rooting from somewhere we cannot figure out yet but could be existing. And these humanlike entities inhabiting the place might came from somewhere else, say from outer space, and evolved to adapt itself in that particular kind of environment. By using their advance technology, they are able to extract oxygen from the waters, heat coming from the earth's inner core and food coming from diversed marine life. Therefore it could be that alien sightings could be linked to my theory that they probably conquered the deep!-Mykk

I've tried every diet. Im overweight and need to lose a good amount of weight. I've been on the low carb diet for 2 weeks now and following it to a "T", ive also been exercising on the treadmill but haven't seen any results and everyone said in the first 2 weeks I would lose 10-15 pounds because it was such a change in my body. I saw the doc yesterday and he told me to just "diet" by eating 3 meals a day, don't restrict any food except fast food or really greasy food and exercise and that I would lose weight just fine...my question is, has anyone done both these diets and if so which one worked better? or do you have any tips for me to start shedding weight? Thanks!
