As we all know, the earth is 90% water. If that's the case, like one of it's big continents above it, underneath is a huge concave land feature that could possibly contain some sort of an unimaginable land features that support life. There could possibly be an abyss or a certain place that could be liken to an upside down bottle being dipped down to the bottom of the water where the air is trapped. However, oxygen inside could be supplied by some kind of a channel rooting from somewhere we cannot figure out yet but could be existing. And these humanlike entities inhabiting the place might came from somewhere else, say from outer space, and evolved to adapt itself in that particular kind of environment. By using their advance technology, they are able to extract oxygen from the waters, heat coming from the earth's inner core and food coming from diversed marine life. Therefore it could be that alien sightings could be linked to my theory that they probably conquered the deep!-Mykk

Most people know that Earth is NOT 90% water. About 70% of the surface is covered by water, but less than 1% of the mass of the Earth is water. We know this by calculating the density of Earth from its known size and gravity.

I've heard of that before -- not sure what the theory was called -- maybe hollow earth theory there are other theorys about aliens living deep in the oceans -- to answer the question -- Could there possibiy be some kind life forms other than extra terrestrials inhabiting the earth's inner layers ? this has been the basis of books and movies but highly unlikely scientifically speaking ( we will discover new life on this planet not a year goes by that we don't but not intelligent life )

and 90% water ? the majority of the surface is covered in water but overall the percentage of water in the earths makeup is probably less than 1% and large cavities would not exist with the pressures involved ( the heat and pressures are immense which is why we have things come to the surface - like lava ) so any trapped water would be well above boiling at any real depth

It is posable that other life forms live here right now.they no anti matter is real and that we see energy and matter only in a small range. but much more energy and matter exists in ranges we can not yet detect. I know it sounds treky but its true.say you have two boxes, if you change the rate of the molecular vibrations of one of them, they could then occupy the same space with out interacting with each other. a kind of phas shifting if you will.with the variaty of life forms only being limited by the range of the vibrations.

What if they didn't need oxygen? What if they breathed some other sort of gaseous substance and thrived on it? That would make it more plausible...not probable...but more plausible.
