Does anyone know what I can do about eBay ignoring a bid? I put it in about twenty minutes before the item ended -- my bid was $35 -- and someone else won for $26.50. Does this happen often on eBay? They are saying I never made the bid but I definitely did.

The only thing I could possibly think of is you put the bid in and then for one reason or another, you did not follow thru. Maybe you got distracted or someone called you and you inadvertedly went back to the bid site. The bidding process is pretty well automatic. If you bid and it is the top bid, you still need to check and make sure you were the top bid on the item.

Well, your bid could have been blocked by the seller for one reason or another, or the bid was not completed. I believe they usually send a bid confirmation after your bid is finalized.

It can happen...also the seller may have certain buyers blocked...like you can't bid with feedback under 10 or under a certain %.
